Weekly Coach Check-In: May 8th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Well I finally did it!!  I organized my first 90 Day Fitness Challenge.  It started yesterday and already the participants are dialing into their nutrition, pushing play on their workouts and asking questions to help them stay motivated.  I know, I know it’s only day 2 but I can’t wait to see the results of their 30, 60 and 90 day results.  I am personally going to complete a hybrid with P90X, P90X 2, Insanity and the Asylum.  If I get my birthday wish, (hint, hint) next week I may mix in some Les Mills Pump as well.

If you didn’t join us this time, don’t feel left out because I should be starting another one soon for those of you who were unable to participate in May.   So, listen up and keep plugging into everyday for more details.

Oh and just a reminder to all you husbands out there, don’t forget that Sunday is Mothers Day and you need to be thinking of something REALLY  nice for your mom or wife.  I especially want to think my wife for letting me buy all of Beachbody workouts and jump around upstairs at 5:00 in the morning – she hasn’t even complained one time.

New on this week:

1.) Interval Training 101:  Why should you be doing Interval training?  Read here to find out the benefits of exercising your heart rate.

2.) End The Trend:  This is the motto of Beachbody and they just released the finalists for the $100,000 grand prize to be given to the best transformation this year.  Checkout the article of the pictures and video of the finalist, it’s truly inspiring.

Weekly Health Tip:

Blackberries are composed of more than 85 percent water along with a hefty dose of fiber, which makes them a great fruit to eat if you’re trying to lose weight, lower cholesterol, or manage type 2 diabetes, they are a good source of folate, a B vitamin that helps maintain healthy hair and may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and mood disorders.  Additionally, blackberries are full of potent antioxidants that can help with arthritis, age-related memory loss, cataracts, and other eyesight problems.

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
