Weekly Coach Check-In: November 6th

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

I hope everyone is having a great week and behaved themselves on Halloween!  Just think with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up it won’t get any easier.  Start planning now on what wise food choices you can make.  Might someone make fun of you for choosing healthy foods while everyone else pigs out? Almost certainly! But WHO CARES??!?! Be strong and confident! Don’t let fat, lazy, out-of-shape people talk you into sidetracking your goals just so they can justify their poor choices!

I have an update on the P90X app from Beachbody.  Beachbody is introducing the app on Wednesday November 9th, so I assume the app will be available that day or soon after.  Sorry Android users, for now it is only available on the iPhone.

Weekly Health Tip:

Wild, fresh, and canned salmon are ideal sources of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to reduce inflammation, decrease triglycerides, and may help to lower high blood pressure and raise cholesterol.  Omega-3 may even reduce the frequency and severity of migraines.  Salmon is also one of the best sources of vitamin D, a key nutrient to maintain strong bones and may reduce your risk of hypertension.
