No Excuses

Everyday you and I wake up we make decisions that affect our daily lives.  Decisions about our work, our family, our health, our attitude and our influence on others.  In life its just easier to make excuses.  I’m too tired, I’m too old, too young, too sick, too busy the list goes on and on.  Sometimes doing the right thing or the best thing takes sacrifice, commitment, dedication and NO EXCUSES. 

The fact is the more we make excuses the less we get accomplished and the worse we feel in the long run.  If you need to be a better husband or wife, the time is now!  When I committed to working out with P90X and eating a clean diet it had a positive impact on my relationship with my wife.  She noticed the change in me and now she has made a commitment to eat healthier and workout on a regular basis.  

If you need to eat healthier for yourself and your family, the time is now!  After I made the change in my own life I wanted the same for those around me, including my two daughters.  I wanted people around me to experience the same feeling of accomplishment that I had from completing a workout program and seeing the results.  I wanted them to feel better because they were making better food choices and eating healthier foods.  I wanted them to experience the increased energy that I had without having to drink 2,3 or 4 sodas just to get through the day.  I don’t drink coffee, 5 hour energy or any other sugar induced beverage that we all know is not good for our bodies.  My body is fueled by proper nutrition and clean eating.

Will you ever have the time to workout? No.  You have to make time.  You have to commit to improving yourself because no one else will do it for you.  To make time I started to workout at home, something I said I would never do.  I don’t have to pay a gym membership anymore, I don’t have to drive to the gym, I don’t have to spend time waiting for equipment.  I workout in the convience of my home where it doesnt matter how I look or If I mess up.  Its just me and the trainer on the video.  I lost more weight working out at my house in 1 month than I had the previous ten years working out in a gym.

Can you workout without having the proper nutrition?  No.  The reality is that 70% of your weight loss will come from eating the proper nutrition.  That’s one reason I started to use shakeology.  I KNOW that once per day I am giving my body all the vast array of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics that will keep it running at full speed.  

 If you are the type of person that lacks motivation, lacks the desire to workout or just needs a little encouragement.  He is a video about Cammie Lusk.  Just watch.  After watching this video you should have no reason to complain and no more EXCUSES.  It definately changed my thinking.
