Weekly Coach Check-In: October 30rd

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

How are ya‘ll doing?  I hope that you are “Diggin Deep” and “Bringin It” this week.  If you’re not, get plugged in and get things turned around, your health is worth it. 

I love this time of year, not so much the cold weather but the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and the beautiful landscapes as the leaves change into the fall colors.  I hope you have decided to make a change to
improve your health and fitness.  Not just an “I want to change” but a lifelong, never looking back, 360 degree change to eat right and exercise.

Tomorrows Halloween and kids all across America will be out trick or treating. Plan ahead, if you will be tempted by having a bowl of goodies by your front door, then don’t do it! Be the one that gives out fruit. Or give out money (dimes or quarters).  Teach your kids that by resisting their sweet tooth there is a payoff — buy their candy from them and toss it out. Then they can use their money to get a toy or something instead.  It’s never too early to break the association of food
as a reward. What a destructive “reward”! It’s time we learn a new way to “reward” ourselves and “treat” ourselves other than making ourselves fat, sick, and depressed!

6.) Halloween Candy: Best and Worst: It’s best to avoid it all together but if you can’t here are a few swaps that you can make to save you 400 calories!!!

Weekly Health Tip:
