Weekly Coach Check-In: October 30rd

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

How are ya‘ll doing?  I hope that you are “Diggin Deep” and “Bringin It” this week.  If you’re not, get plugged in and get things turned around, your health is worth it.

I love this time of year, not so much the cold weather but the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and the beautiful landscapes as the leaves change into the fall colors.  I hope you have decided to make a change to
improve your health and fitness.  Not just an “I want to change” but a lifelong, never looking back, 360 degree change to eat right and exercise.

Tomorrows Halloween and kids all across America will be out trick or treating. Plan ahead, if you will be tempted by having a bowl of goodies by your front door, then don’t do it! Be the one that gives out fruit. Or give out money (dimes or quarters).  Teach your kids that by resisting their sweet tooth there is a payoff — buy their candy from them and toss it out. Then they can use their money to get a toy or something instead.  It’s never too early to break the association of food
as a reward. What a destructive “reward”! It’s time we learn a new way to “reward” ourselves and “treat” ourselves other than making ourselves fat, sick, and depressed!

New on TeamInternallyFit.com this week:

2.) Modify, Modify If You Need To: Be safe, be smart and modify the moves that you are unable to perform.  Read to find out more about modifying your workouts.

3.) Momentum: Find out how to get momentum and some tips on how to keep it.

4.) Measuring Body Fat:  With so many numbers and statistics to measure health and fitness, this might be the most important one.  Read to find out why.

5.) Nutrition Myths Exposed: What’s fact and fiction when it comes to nutrition, this article exposes the myths behind some of the most widespread nutrition myths out there.

6.) Halloween Candy: Best and Worst: It’s best to avoid it all together but if you can’t here are a few swaps that you can make to save you 400 calories!!!

Weekly Health Tip:

There are multiple benefits of ginger for arthritis. Ginger is a versatile spice that has anti-inflammatory properties, and early research shows it may be helpful in alleviating arthritis pain, making it one of the best foods for arthritis.  This potent flavoring agent can be used in any course, from appetizers to dessert.

KEEP DOING YOUR BEST AND INSPIRING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get
more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!

2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teaminternallyfit.com, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really
appreciate it!
