Weekly Coach Check-In: January 29th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Whew!! One month of 2012 is almost in the books and I don’t know about you but I’ve gotten off to a great start.  I finished up my 2nd full week of my X2 challenge; I’m continuing my healthy lifestyle and I continue to look for new ways to add variety to my fitness.

Keep checking out teamINTERNALLYfit as I will be adding some new recipes I’ve discovered over the past few weeks.  I have also been working through a couple of books that I hope to review in the next few weeks.  The first one is “Choose to Lose” it’s a great book about using carbs to your advantage.  The second book, “The Great Physicians” by Jordan Rubin uses scripture for the Bible as a reference for health and wellness.  So far, both books are great.

If you’ve slacked, slowed down or just had a bad day with the “NEW” you, don’t forget to let 2012 be your year of change. It’s never too late to reach our fitness endeavors! TeamINTERNALLYfit is here for you to plug in and get the motivation, support and answers you need to get the body you’ve always wanted.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to be your coach.  It truly is an honor and a privilege. I will NOT fail you. You guys keep me motivated and fired up!

New on this week:

1.) New Tropical Shakeology – It’s almost here!! Checkout this article to get the latest news on Beachbody’s newest, healthiest creation – Tropical Shakeology, available February 14th 2012.

2.) Counting Calories – This is a recent article written by Tony Horton explaining who needs to count calories and who might can skip it.

3.) The Right Way vs. The Wrong Way – The biggest problems with starting a new program or workout is people don’t get a good start.  Find out how to come out of the blocks fast and get the best results possible.

Weekly Health Tip:

There’s a reason why apples are so popular – they’re delicious and good for you?  They have a high water content and more soluble fiber than most fruits, which make them a terrific choice if you’re trying to lose weight or have high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, or IBS.  Apples with red skin are especially high in antioxidants that can help manage arthritis pain and slow memory loss.  If you get migraine headaches, be aware that red-skinned apples are a possible trigger, but yellow and green skinned varieties are a safe bet.

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!

2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
