Weekly Coach Check-In: April 17th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

I’m officially done with my first round of P90X 2 and can’t wait to start a hybrid with P90X 2 and possibly Les Mills Pump or Insanity.  P90X 2 pushed me to new heights with improvements to my balance, strength and flexibility.  I never thought I could do sets of 50 lbs curls standing on 1 leg or renegade rows with 45 lbs.   I have to say that I haven’t felt better or stronger.  P90X 2 is truly – functional fitness at its best.

I will be starting Challenge Groups on May 7th, 2012.  These Challenge Groups will be open to groups of 5 or less, they will all use the same workout (Power 90, P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Insanity: The Asylum or Les Mills Pump – You choose the one that fits you), they will all have their own private facebook page to ask questions and find motivation.  The smaller groups will help me focus on individual workouts and small groups of people to help them achieve maximum results.  To find out more about challenge groups including: Why to join, how to join and how you can save money CLICK HERE.

On a side note I wanted to let everyone know that if you happen to get on my website and notice that there are strange, random posts without pictures – DO NOT CLICK ON THEM.  My site has been getting hacked lately and I’m tried to figure out how to fix it.  Just be on the look out.

Weekly Health Tip:

Mushrooms are fleshy, water-filled vegetables that are very low in calories, making them a great choice for people who are trying to lose weight.  The potassium in mushrooms helps lower blood pressure and preserves bone health.  Mushrooms are also rich in riboflavin and niacin, B vitamins that may help prevent cataracts and migraine headaches, as well as selenium, a mineral with antioxidant properties that may help protect your joints.
