Weekly Coach Check-In: May 1st, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Hope you’re having a great week so far, eating healthy, working out and spending time with the family.  I can’t believe it’s already May, wow this year is moving fast and only 1 week left until teaminternallyfit starts our first 90 Day Fitness Challenge.  This week I’m going back through some old workouts that I haven’t done in awhile like P90X, Insanity the Asylum and some of Tony’s 1 on 1 series.  I’m doing a mix as I gear up for the 90 Day Fitness Challenge.

Have you joined our 90 Day Fitness Challenge?!  We will be pushing each other to get in the best shape of our lives.  There is still time to get in.  It’s free if you already have P90X (or any other Beachbody workout) but you must be added to our private Facebook page no later than May 7th to participate (send me a friend request on Facebook and just ask to be added).  Here are the benefits of joining the challenge

The Challenge Group will be starting on Monday May 7th, 2012. 

These Challenge Groups will be open to groups of 5 or less, they will all use the same workout (Power 90, P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Insanity: The Asylum or Les Mills Pump – You choose the one that fits you, heck I don’t care what workout you choose – just come join the fun), We will use our own private facebook page to ask questions and find motivation.  The smaller groups will help me focus on individual workouts and small groups of people to help them achieve maximum results.

If you would like to join the Fitness Challenge but don’t have a workout, simply go to and click on programs or if you want to save some money you can click on challenge packs and choose a workout and shakeology and save $$$$.

2.) Food Label Lies: Have you been fooled by what you’ve read on the package of your favorite “healthy” food?  Find out how manufactures trick you into buying this supposedly “healthy” food.

Weekly Health Tip:

Chili powder is typically a mixture of spices, often including chili pepper, cumin, oregano, and garlic.  The heat level can range form mild to hot depending upon what types of peppers is used.  Some brands of chili powder also contain salt, so read labels carefully if you have high blood pressure and need t limit your sodium intake.
