Weekly Coach Check-In: May 28th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

What a great Memorial Day weekend!!  Not only does this weekend kick off my “official” summer break, but it’s been a great time to spend with family and friends.  I hope you sacrificed a few cheat meals this weekend for the long term prize of being healthy and fit, remember just 1 cheat meal can set you back 2 to 3 workouts.  OUCH!! 

Don’t forget, since yesterday was Memorial Day, to thank our service men both active and non-active for the sacrifice they have made so that we are able to live in the greatest country in the world – the United States!!!  It’s especially important for me because my 93 year old grandfather is a WWII veteran, fighting in such battles as D-Day, The Battle of the Bulge and helping to liberate a concentration camp after the war.  To all our veterans, WE SALUTE YOU!!

Our challenge group is on day 23 of our 90 Day Challenge and today marks day 2 of our first recovery week and they deserve it.  They’ve pushed hard, they’ve persevered and the results are starting to show, can’t wait for those 30 day photos.

Just a reminder that you only have this week to sign up for our Challenge group next month that starts on June 4th!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get in shape before venturing to the pool this summer.  If you want in just shoot me a message and let me know.  Once you let me know the following will be required

  • I will add you to a small 5 person Facebook group
  • You will take a fit test on day 1(June 3rd)
  • You will be required to take measurements and weight on day 1
  • You will comment to follow the nutrition plan
  • You will be required to post in the Facebook group about your progress at least twice a week
  • You will be required to log what you are eating so that we can review it and I can tell you what you’re doing wrong
  • You will commit to ask questions before you get frustrated,  skip a workout or want to quit
  • You will take a fit test on day 90 to see how far you have come

As you can see these groups are not for those people who kind of want results.  This is the ultimate accountability group and the ultimate way to have a 90 day transformation that will knock your socks off!  So if you’re ready to stop making excuses and really put the effort in reply to this e-mail so we can get you in the group.  Spots are filling up quickly!

Weekly Health Tip:

Unsweetened, natural applesauce can be part of a healthy diet.  However, many store bought applesauces contain sugar or high fructose corn syrup, which can greatly increase the calories and sugar.  When possible make sure to use fresh apples, which are best because they have more fiber and nutrients.
