Weekly Coach Check-In: June 19th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

WOW!! I don’t know about you but the summer is HEATING UP here!!!  I hope you’ve had a great week and are turning the HEAT UP on your workouts to get maximum results.  How is everyone’s summer going?  I hope you are staying busy, active, and enjoying it!   The days are longer, and I have been enjoying the longer days to play with my 2 girls outside (it sure beats winter when it’s dark at 5:00!!)

I’m extremely excited this week as our first 90 Day Fitness Challenge group will be hitting their halfway point on Wednesday.  I can’t wait to see the final results, I’ve heard a lot of great testimony about weight loss, feeling better, more energy, buying new cloths and the list goes on.  Remember, this is just the beginning; we are working on a new healthy lifestyle that will still be laying out great results in the distant future.

If you would like to join one of our fitness challenge groups, you can start by clicking “Ready for a Change?”  It will give you all of the details.

New on TeamInternallyFit.com this week:

1.) New York Soda BanNYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg plans to propose a far-reaching municipal ban on sales of large-size sugary beverages by restaurants, mobile food carts, movie theaters and delis.

2.) Fast Food vs. Healthy Food:  You hear it all the time, “healthy food is just too expensive, I can’t afford it”.  This is a myth that’s been going around for some time now and to be honest, it just isn’t true.

3.) Negative People:  Eating super clean is TOUGH!  Bringing it every workout is TOUGH!  Unfortunately those aren’t the only obstacles you will face when you decide to make a healthy lifestyle change.

Weekly Health Tip:

Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable that is beneficial for almost all conditions!  It contains many nutrients (including soluble fiber, folate, and vitamin B6) that help enhance overall heart health.  Because it’s high in fiber and low in calories, broccoli can also help you lose weight and reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes.  It’s also a good source of antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which help maintain healthy eyes, hair, and skin.

KEEP DOING YOUR BEST AND INSPIRING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teaminternallyfit.com, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
