Weekly Coach Check-In: October 16th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

I hope that you and your family are doing well.  This time of year the weather is much cooler, the fall colors are starting to show, however it also marks the beginning of the eating . . . I mean the holiday season.  You know what I’m talking about: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I hope that you will make the commitment this year to take charge of your health and fitness.  If you don’t, over the next three months it will control you.  I know how tempting it is to fall back into your bad habits.  It takes commitment, desire and the will to put down the quick and easy junk food for the healthy, energy boosting super foods.  Are you going to be another of those holiday casualties this year or are you going to win the battle of the holidays?  It has to be up to you, I can’t give you the desire and commitment, YOU have to be willing to resist the junk, the sugar, salt, and the fat.  I hope you are ready to be a success story and not another diet fad failure.  If you are staying on track and plan on cruising through the holidays working out and eating clean . . . Congratulations!!  If you’re on the fence and find yourself falling off the wagon, don’t worry that is what teaminternallyfit is here for.  To help you reach your health and fitness goals by providing you with the knowledge, the motivation and the support you will need to make it until January 2013.

If you are in need of a wake-up call, I’m would like to give you some suggestions that have helped me stay committed and breeze through, not only the holiday’s, but the other 9 months.

If you’re looking for a workout Body Beast, Les Mills Pump and P90X 2 are some of the new workouts from Beachbody.  Body Beast is for those who want to pack on the muscle, while Les Mills uses the rep effect to burn fat and sculpt lean muscle.  P90X 2 is all about functional fitness.  It’s a complete workout that will have you ripped from head to toe through weight lifting, advanced cardio, stretching and other moves performed by some of the top athletes in the world.  I’ve used these workouts over the last year and they are incredible and can meet any fitness need.

Maybe you’re not looking for a workout, but something that can help you get your diet back on track.  My two recommendations are The Ultimate Reset and Shakeology.

The Ultimate Reset is a clean eating plan and supplement regiment that can help get your system back on track and rid your body of unwanted toxins.  During the 21 day reset, you don’t work out, but follow a healthy, whole foods diet while supplementing with vitamins and nutrients your body has been missing for years.  You can read more about the Ultimate Reset on my page teaminternallyfit.com under the supplements tab.

My final recommendation is the foundation of my daily diet.  Shakeology is a meal replacement that I have used now for a year and a half.  I truly believe it is the key to my overall health and fitness.  Shakeology provides my body with everything it needs, including all the fruits and veggies required by your body each day.

These are just some of the things that I use every day to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.  I’m not trying to sell you anything, but would definitely ask you to consider these products.

New on TeamInternallyFit.com this week:

1.) Asylum: Volume 2:  Insanity: Asylum 2 is officially here!!!  You can purchase for just $59.85!  If you order from me you’ll get a FREE workout called Pure Contact as a bonus.  By now you’ve conquered multiple rounds of Insanity, taken it to the next level with Insanity: The Asylum, and maybe even created your own crazy-intense hybrid schedule.  Now, here’s your chance to see what you’re really made of. LOL

2.) What Is a Beachbody Coach?:  I decided to write and let people know exactly what a beachbody coach is, and how I can help you to reach your health and fitness goals.

3.) Grocery Encyclopedia:  We read them all the time, misleading food claims.  This article from menshealth.com and Eat This, Not That, sheds some light on some of the tricky wording on labels and what they actually mean.

Weekly Health Tip: Almond milk is made from ground almonds mixed with water and sometimes sweetener or sugar.  Almond milk is a good substitute for cow’s milk and soy milk.  Unsweetened varieties are lower in calories and added sugar.  Make sure you look for a brand that is fortified with calcium and vitamin D.

KEEP DOING YOUR BEST AND INSPIRING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teaminternallyfit.com, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
