Weekly Coach Check-In: October 23rd, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Are you ready for Halloween?  I can’t wait; it’s the one day of the year that I throw my fitness plan and clean eating out the window.  This is one of the few times a year that I just “Pig out” on my favorite candy, cookies and junk food.  My kids will come home with tons of candy and I’m sure I will go out and buy some more, besides its just one day of the year . . . Are you kidding, I hope you don’t believe that, I WILL NOT BE EATTING A BUNCH OF JUNK this Halloween or any other holiday.  I’ve made the commitment to myself and my family to stay healthy and eat right, even on Halloween.  Besides I’ll probably throw away most of the candy my kids get.

If you’ve worked your butt off all year or maybe you’ve taken charge of your health, why ruin it over the next 3 months.  Stay focused, plan ahead and find healthy alternatives to eating the junk that comes out this time of year.  It’s too easy to fall into old habits and too hard to stop.  If you need advice or motivation on how to make it through the holidays don’t hesitate to contact me.  I would love to help you make it through the holidays.

New on this week:

1.) Turn Fat to Muscle: Learn how to rid your body of unhealthy fat and replace it with lean muscle.

2.) Family Fitness Fun: What better way to spend time with your family than through exercise.  Find out ways that you and your family can get off the couch and have fun exercising.

3.) Protein Guide: What is protein and why do you need it?  These are just a few of the questions that I will answer in this article.  Check it out to find out more.

Weekly Health Tip:

Salmon – Wild, fresh, and canned salmon are ideal sources of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to reduce inflammation, decrease triglycerides, and may help to lower high blood pressure and raise good cholesterol.  Omega-3s may even reduce the frequency and severity of migraines.  Salmon is also one of the best food sources of vitamin D, a key nutrient that helps maintain strong bones and may reduce your risk of hypertension.

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
