Weekly Coach Check-In: December 11th

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

I got an early Christmas present this year, my P90X 2 arrived on Tuesday!!!!  I’ve had a chance to complete 3 workouts so far and there is no doubt that Tony Horton and Beachbody put some time in creating this BAD BOY.  It is definitely a P90X workout but in a whole new way.  It’s kind of hard to explain it you’ll just have to see for yourself.  The warm-up is different; along with the addition of P.A.P. workouts and the new X2 ab ripper you’re going to be challenged in a whole new way.  I love it!!

Also, the Beachbody eGift Cards are a nice stocking stuffer so keep those in mind as you do your Christmas shopping. To learn more about them, go to  Remember; stay focused through the Christmas holidays and family get-togethers. Sometimes a change in routine can really throw us off our groove, like traveling, taking time off work, or spending time with friends and family. Those are all good things, and we should do them, but we also need to
plan ahead so that those changes don’t derail our workouts and nutrition. All it takes is to slack off for a day …. which turns into a weekend … and then a week … and now it’s been months and you’ve totally relapsed. Be smart, plan ahead, stay true to your commitment and don’t let this happen to you.

If you need accountability, help others.  I became a coach because I knew that if I were coaching others through their own fitness and nutrition, I would be forced to set the example and stick to it myself. It’s worked for nearly 3 years and
counting! I’m not saying you should all become official Beachbody coaches necessarily, but I am issuing the challenge to put yourself on the line and offer to help your friends or family. Be their source of information,  ncouragement, and commit to walking with them as they set out to get fit. By committing to help someone else, you have the built in accountability to set the standard and be strong for them. If you want to ensure that you won’t fall off the wagon, then start helping others! There is no better source of accountability!

New on this week:

1.) My 1,000 Calorie Workout – I give my suggestions on how you can turn your body into a calorie burning machine and burn up to 1,000 calories at time.

2.) Body Fat, How Much Should I Have? – Learn what range your body fat should be in.   I include a chart for men and women.

3.) Ups and Downs: Yo Yo Dieting – In this post I address what yo-yo dieting is, what causes it and the health consequences of weight cycling.

Weekly Health Tip:

Salt is a seasoning that increases blood pressure in people who are salt sensitive.  Sodium (which is 40% of salt) is necessary for the body to function. However, too much draws excess fluid into the blood, which raises blood pressure. Most adults are advised to limit their sodium intake to less than 1,500 mg per day.

And 2 favors that I ask:

1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get
more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!

2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really
appreciate it!
