Weekly Coach Check-In: May 21st, 2013
Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Halleluiah!!! Today starts the 1 month countdown until summer, are you ready?  Do you need motivation to get in the best shape of your life this summer?  Have you had one too many cheat meals?  I’ll admit it I splurge on cheat food now and then.  My two biggest downfalls are my mom’s chocolate chip cookies and ice cream.  However, to hold myself accountable and to make sure that I’m getting the maximum results from my workouts, I’m committing to no cheat meals, cheat foods, cheat bites or cheat sips of any kind.  How about it? Are you with me?  Make this commitment with me so you won’t be the one hiding and hoping no one notices you at the beach or pool.    YOU DESERVE THIS!!!

Less than two weeks left in the Beachbody May promotions.  BB has dropped the price of Tai Cheng® Challenge Packs to $180 (regularly $205). That’s over $90 of savings if you were to buy these programs and products separately. Tai Cheng is a 12-week total-body fitness program, designed for immediate and long-term benefits from learning the graceful movements of Tai Chi (pronounced “tie-CHEE”).

Tai Chi is a martial art practiced primarily for its health and physical conditioning benefits, rather than for combat. Every day, the Tai Cheng program takes you through a gentle, energizing warm-up and the practice of Tai Chi moves. Each move helps you strengthen areas of weakness, tone muscles, and burn calories, while also helping you increase flexibility, improve balance, and reduce stiffness. Elite athletes find that Tai Cheng helps improve athletic performance in fundamental ways. If you’re overweight, Tai Cheng can help you shed pounds safely as your entire body becomes stronger and more agile. Whatever your fitness level, daily practice of Tai Cheng can result in greater awareness and help improve your strength, energy, and stability.  This is the perfect opportunity to get this incredible program just in time for Father’s Day!

Also, as May comes to a close, so does BB’s FREE trial of Cordastra— What is Cordastra?    It’s an herbal supplement that boosts workout recoveries and energy levels.  Try it FREE for the month of May.

Get ready because a new Shuan T workout is on its way in just a few weeks, it’s called Focus T25.  Every workout in the program is only 25 minutes, that’s right only 25 minutes!!  Here’s the catch . . . there’re no breaks, it’s 25 minutes of hardcore Shaun T training.  I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available, I can’t wait!!

Finally, don’t forget that Beachbody has given the old greenberry shakeology a facelift and improved the taste.  So if you weren’t a greenberry fan before, give it another try, I think you’ll be surprise the reviews are very positive.

New on this week:

1.) Best Fitness Foods – Ever wonder exactly what foods you should be eating with your fitness routine?  Click here for the answer and find out the foods that you should be eating to lose weight, get healthier and stay fit.

2.) Cardio: Do It for Your Knees – Yes, you heard me right, cardio done properly and with the right equipment can actually help strengthen knees and joints.  Read this article to find out what types of cardio you should be doing and how you can strengthen your knees in the process.

3.) Junk Food Addiction – Americans are obsessed with junk food!  It’s on every corner of the street and seems to make our lives easier by being so quick and readily available.  Find out how to break your junk food addiction and get back your health.

WEEKLY HEALTH TIP: Kale is a cruciferous and leafy green vegetable from the cabbage family, similar to collard greens.  Because it’s a high quality carb and very low in calories, kale can help you manage your weight and type 2 diabetes.  It’s a good source of antioxidants, including vitamin C, beta-carotene, lutenin, and zeaxanthin which help maintain healthy eyes, hair, and skin.  The calcium and potassium in kale help keep your bones and teeth strong.  Kale is also high in antioxidant quercetin, which protects against arthritis and memory loss.

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit).
