Weekly Coach Check-In: June 26th, 2012

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Well it’s finally here, time for a little rest and relaxation . . . after my morning workouts of course.  My family and I left early Sunday Morning and as you read this we are enjoying a weeklong trip in the mountains.  We will spend almost a week there but I plan on keeping up with my a.m. workouts . . . yes that’s right – EVEN ON VACATION!  Remember your health doesn’t take a vacation, plus I’ve realized I have more energy and feel better if I keep up my workouts and clean eating.  What I’m really trying to say is that it helps me keep up with my kids!!! LOL

Last week was Beachbody’s Summit meeting in Las Vegas for Beachbody coaches.  Even thought I was unable to attend I did hear some interesting new products that will be introduced very soon.  Here are a few of the one’s I know about: Insanity: The Asylum Volume 2 (Fall 2012), Chocolate Vegan Shakeology, Body Beast (went live on the first day of Summit – Read below) and Beachbody is offering a line of skin care products called DERM that will be available soon.

Finally, another 90 Day Fitness Challenge group will start Monday July 2nd.  I you haven’t tried one of these yet, they are great to get motivation, support and answers to questions.  Here is the link with the details about the challenge called, “Read for a Change”.

New on this week:

1.) Body Beast:  Pack on 10 pounds of muscle in 90 days with Body Beast. Created by world-class trainer and former “Mr. Israel,” Sagi Kalev, this proven growth-inducing program includes 12 extreme workout DVDs, plus valuable fitness tools to help you get healthy, increase your confidence, lose fat, and give you the physique of a bodybuilding champion.

2.) Healthy Lunch Options: These are some quick and easy lunch options that I eat; I’ve also added nutritional info on the bottom.  All these ingredients are bought at my local Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club.  Plus, you will find some restaurant options.

3.) Vacation Time!!!:  You’re on vacation, so you know what that means, time to dump My Fitness Pal, eat pretty much what I want and not exercise until I get back, right?  Not a chance.

Weekly Health Tip:

Salsa is a low-calorie condiment that can replace higher-calorie ones, such as mayonnaise and creamy dressings.  One quarter cup of tomato salsa has only 30 calories, but store-bought versions can be high in sodium, so go easy or make a salt free recipe at home if you have high blood pressure.  My favorite is Marketside Fresh Garden Salsa from Wal-Mart.

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
