Weekly Coaches Check In: October 2nd

FALL BREAK!! This week is fall break at my school so I will be spending the week with my two girls.   I still plan on keeping my morning routine of working out at 4:30 a.m.  I like doing my workouts that early because it doesn’t interfere with family time (there is nothing going on at my house at 4:30 in the morning, LOL) and there is nothing to keep me from doing it.  No practices, no phone calls, no shopping trips, nothing, just me and Tony or Shaun T.  Find out what time works best for your schedule and stick to it, you’ll be glad you did.

If you haven’t seen it already here is what’s new at the website this week:

1.) P90X 2 Pre-view – X2 Recovery and Mobility – Yes, every once and awhile Tony will take it easy on you to allow your muscles to recover.  Just don’t get used to it.

2.) Free Beachbody account – Just a reminder about what I do and why I’m here to help you.

3.) Not About the Numbers – I wrote this article to help people understand your health and fitness is not just about numbers.  Sometimes it’s how we feel not about how much we weight.  I detail some important things to track and why they are more beneficial than just numbers on a scale.

4.) Weight Loss Tips – I read this article and thought you can’t get people too much information about losing weight and staying motivated, so I decided to post this article.  5.) Exercise Your Heart Rate – Your heart is a muscle, just like
any muscle in your body.  Therefore, we have to treat it like one.  Read this article to find out how.

6.) Create Your “To Do” List – Make a list, start checking off and start seeing results.

Weekly Health Tip:

Peaches have high water content and a good amount of fiber, making them a great choice for people who are trying to lose weight or prevent or manage heart disease.  They are also a good source of beta-crypotoxanthin and anthocyanins, antioxidants that help prevent and manage arthritis, cataracts, and macular degeneration, and may help slow memory decline.
