Weekly Coach Check-In: December 24th, 2013

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Twas the night before Christmas and I’m up late trying to put “stuff” together!!!!  Well, tomorrow’s the BIG day and I don’t know who’s more excited my kids or me.  I hope you’ve finished all of your shopping and don’t have to make any last minute trips to Wal-Mart, I’m glad I got most of mine done the 1st week of December.

This time next week we will all be “ringin’ in” the New Year and most Americans, 75% according to most statistics, will be making New Year’s resolutions.  The reality is that a majority of those resolutions will be forgotten by February or March if they’re lucky.  Don’t be one of those people; don’t make a resolution but a full and complete commitment to your health and fitness.  It’s simple, find a Beachbody program that fits your fitness needs, follow the nutrition plan and commit to it until the end, your results will be incredible.

Don’t forget, there is only 1 week left to take advantage of the introductory P90X3 Challenge Pack offer ($180 – down from $205). Don’t forget when you order through me you’ll receive an exclusive P90X3 baseball cap. It might seem like the end of the year, but P90X 3 (or any Beachbody program) can help you start 2014 strong and on the right foot. Bring it!

FAQ about P90X 3:

How long does it take to complete P90X3?
P90X3 is a 90 day program, split into 3 Blocks.

• Block 1: 4 weeks
• Block 2: 4 weeks
• Block 3: 5 weeks
Optional after 90 day completion:
• Elite Block: 4 weeks

Note: The Elite Block includes 3 workouts not included in the P90X3 Base Kit. They are included with-in the P90X3 Deluxe and Ultimate Kits or can be purchased separately.

How long are the workouts?
P90X3 workouts are 30 minutes. Most workouts include a 2-3 minute cool down.

Note: X3 Ab Ripper workout is 15 minutes and included within the Deluxe Kit.

What does each P90X3 schedule option (Classic, Lean, Mass and Doubles) entail?
Classic – this schedule is the traditional mix of cardio and resistance. This is the schedule used by most people.
Lean – this schedule focuses more on cardio and a little less on resistance. This is the schedule used by people looking to get lean and toned and not fully ripped.
Mass – this schedule focuses more on resistance and a little less on cardio. This is the schedule used by people looking to add bulk – beyond just getting ripped.
Doubles – this schedule is for those people looking to work out twice a day, as it will usually include two workouts per day.

New on this week:

1.) Overcoming Holiday Excuses – Around the holidays there are so many temptations it’s almost hard not to resist and just give in.  Find out how you can win the battle and overcome your holiday excuses.

2.) Holiday Food = Calories – How many calories are in your favorite holiday treats?  Read to find out, you may be surprised.

3.) Causes of Obesity – Find out the leading causes of obesity in the U.S. and how you can overcome it or even prevent it.

4.) Monday Motivation – Are you pushing through the holidays and finishing 2013?  If not, you may need to start your week off with a little motivation.

WEEKLY HEALTH TIP: Sweet potatoes offer carb satisfaction but are slowly digested, making them a great weight loss food.  They are full of beta-carotene, and antioxidant precursor to Vitamin A.  The vitamin is extremely important to skin health. Compared to white potatoes, sweet potatoes pack a much greater nutritional punch for nearly the same calories.

And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc.  It really helps me get more exposure and grow TeamInternallyFit!
2) Also, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site,, (If you buy from the plain Beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out. Thank you! I really appreciate it!
