Weekly Coach Check-In: May 20th, 2014

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

How’s your week so far?  I shouldn’t brag but my week is going to be great because Thursday is my last day of school, I’ll be off work until August . . . YEAH!!!!!  I plan on spending a lot of time with my family and enjoying being with my kids this summer.

What about you?  What are your summer plans?  Do they involve going on vacation, to the beach or maybe out of the country.  No matter what you’ve got planned this summer, “don’t forget to push play”.  That’s one of the best parts of Beachbody workout programs are that you can take them anywhere and do them anywhere.  I’ve literally done workouts in hallways, stairways, parking lots, hotel rooms, hotel gyms; you name it I’ve probably worked out there.  

Why not just take a week or two off?  Simply, because I’ve learned the importance of a daily exercise program, not only to my health but to how I feel throughout the day.  If I skipped a workout, even on vacation I would be miserable.  Since all BB workouts come with a nutrition and workout guide it’s easy to plan ahead and be better prepared for where you’re going to be 30, 60 or even 90 days from now.  Keep pushing play!!!

WEEKLY HEALTH TIP:  Cantaloupe contains a lot of beta-carotene, an excellent antioxidant that converts to vitamin A and it contains your daily requirements of both vitamin C and A per cup.  The presence of potassium, vitamin B6, folate and niacin means cantaloupe is an excellent helper for energy production in your cells.
