Weekly Coach Check-In: November 11th, 2014

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

Wow! Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving? November is in FULL swing and as the “eating season” rolls on the temptations are getting difficult to resist. So how do you overcome the temptation this year and stay on track with your health and fitness? Here are some tips:

  • Rest – When you’re tired you tend to over eat.
  • Fill up on healthy foods first – The majority of your calories will come on the first plate, chose wisely.
  • Drink plenty of water – dehydration can be mistaken for hunger.
  • Get a smaller plate – Small plate =’s small portions
  • Eat slowly – Takes 20 minutes + for you body to recognize food. Eat slowly, eat fewer calories.

November specials are incredible; I personally picked up the Les Mills Combat workouts and am currently using them in a hybrid with Les Mills Pump.
