Weekly Coach Check-In: February 10th, 2015

Hey TeamInternallyFit,

I hope you are having a great 2015 so far and reaching all of your daily and weekly fitness goals.  Have you struggled so far this year maintaining your nutrition and workouts?  Here’s a tip to help you refocus.  So often we look at nutrition and fitness as a means of punishing ourselves and getting the perfect body.  In reality eating clean and daily exercise should be used to improve our well being, increase our energy level, push us mentally as well as physically.  We often think of our bodies as a machine needing a tune up but we should be working to challenge ourselves to be healthier and happier.  Change your thinking about why you eat healthy and exercise.

New at Beachbody:  Wow, I’ve got some exciting news, starting March 2nd, Beachbody will be rolling out a new product . . . no it’s not a new workout . . . no it’s not a new supplement . . . It’s BEACHBODY ON DEMAND!  Workout anytime, anywhere from your mobile device, tablet or computer.  I’ve had a chance the last few weeks to try it out and it’s incredible.  Just like a regular program you’ll also receive a nutrition guide, workout guide and other materials all on your devices.  I’ll give you more info in the coming days.

  1. 21 Fix Extreme – Checkout Autumn Calabrese’s new 21 day workout, 21 Day Fix Extreme.  The workout are amped up and so is the nutrition plan so that you get maximum results in only 21 days.  Plus, it includes workouts and nutrition specifically if you are preparing for a competition.
  2. How to Eat Your Veggies – Man, I hate veggies and so do a lot of other people.  Find out how you can hate veggies but still eat them at the same time.
  3. Monday Motivation – Monday’s are tough for many people, but they don’t have to be.  Set a goal, make a plan and crush it every Monday.  It will keep you motivated and help keep your mind off the Monday blues.

WEEKLY HEALTH TIP: Mushrooms are an excellent source of protein, wonderful for a vegetarian or low-meat diet.  They also may help fight breast cancer by lowering estrogen levels, and they may regulate blood pressure.  Mushrooms are virtually fat free, inexpensive and full of nutrition.
